Shallipopi Calls Out Dapper Again: “I Would Rather Die Than Allow This Case to Die Down”

Nigerian singer Shallipopi has once again called out music executive Dapper as their ongoing dispute continues to generate attention online.

The singer returned to X to directly challenge Dapper, insisting that he would not allow the matter to be forgotten or pushed aside. In one of his latest posts, Shallipopi wrote: “Once it’s a mistake. Two times is a coincidence. Three times its a pattern. Dapper, come outside right now.”

He followed the message with an even stronger statement, saying he would rather die than allow the case to die down and calling on Dapper to meet him face to face.

The latest development comes shortly after Dapper responded publicly to allegations involving Shallipopi, Seyi Vibez, T.I Blaze and other former artistes. Dapper said records relating to the various claims exist and are with the relevant authorities, insisting that the truth should be established through the appropriate process.

Shallipopi has also claimed that he submitted evidence concerning the dispute to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He has maintained that he wants the matter properly investigated rather than allowing it to remain solely a social-media confrontation.

The disagreement has brought renewed attention to previous accusations surrounding Shallipopi’s departure from Dapper Music. In earlier comments, the singer alleged that his signature was forged on a long-term distribution agreement and made other serious claims concerning earnings and music distribution. Those allegations remain claims made by Shallipopi, while Dapper has disputed accusations against him.

Shallipopi’s latest comments have therefore added another chapter to a dispute that has continued to attract significant attention from Nigerian music fans.

For now, the singer appears determined to keep the issue in the public conversation, while Dapper has maintained that the relevant records are available and that the appropriate authorities should determine the truth.
