Six months after “Omo Ologo”, OTEEZYGMB is back with a two-track single, “Come Around/Almighty Allah”. It is his second release of the year and it’s out now on all major streaming platforms.
The single shows two sides of the artist. “Come Around” is a playful love record that mixes Yoruba, Pidgin and English. He falls for a woman whose beauty and energy leave him weak, it’s built for the dance floor and the timeline.
“Almighty Allah” is more reflective. It’s a prayer and a testimony about the long road he has travelled, the struggles nobody sees, and his faith that blessings are on the way. He asks for protection and for the evil arrows sent his way to be returned to sender, and he stays hungry to reach his goals.
Together the two tracks show OTEEZYGMB’s range, from fun and flirty to grateful and prayerful, in the same blend of languages.
