Nigerian-born artist NazB is building a unique musical identity from the heart of Europe, blending Afrobeats with Afrohouse, Amapiano, Afro-pop, Euro dance and hip-hop.
Born Michael Ikenna Ozigbo and originally from Anambra State, NazB is now based in Zurich, Switzerland, where he has become part of the growing African music movement across Europe. His music reflects both sides of his journey — his Nigerian roots and the different cultures he encountered while travelling and building his career.
NazB grew up in a family where music was already part of everyday life. Members of his family sang and played instruments, giving him an early connection to rhythm and performance. He started performing at local clubs during his teenage years before making the bold decision to leave Nigeria at 18 to pursue music independently.

His 2025 album Ikenna is particularly significant because it carries his Nigerian first name and brings together his African heritage with the international sounds that have influenced his career. The project contains 21 tracks and showcases his blend of Afrobeats, Afrohouse, Amapiano and Afro-pop.
NazB has also remained active with new music in 2026. His recent releases include “Ibiza,” “Kaam Pe” featuring Dinero Ash, and “lonely days are gone.”
‘Kaam Pe’ and the Global Direction
One of his recent releases, “Kaam Pe,” brought NazB together with Mumbai-based artist Dinero Ash, creating a cross-continental collaboration connecting African and Asian musical influences.
