Nigerian rapper and songwriter Blaqbonez is back with a brand-new single titled “BIG PERFORMER,” adding another record to his busy 2026 run.
The new song continues the rapper’s reputation for confidence, personality and an ability to switch things up without losing the identity that has made him one of Nigeria’s most recognizable contemporary rappers. “BIG PERFORMER” is part of a two-song release alongside “FYP” featuring Monochrome, giving fans another glimpse into Blaqbonez’s current musical direction.
Before this latest release, Blaqbonez had already made headlines in 2026 with “Chanel,” his collaboration with Asake, while continuing to build on the momentum of his No Excuses era.
Born Emeka Akumefule Chukwuemeka George in Lagos, Blaqbonez started rapping at the age of 13 and developed his reputation through Nigeria’s underground hip-hop scene. His breakthrough included winning Terry Tha Rapman’s Zombie competition before eventually joining Chocolate City’s 100 Crowns imprint.
Over the years, he has released projects including Bad Boy Blaq, Young Preacher, Sex Over Love, Emeka Must Shine and No Excuses, establishing himself as an artist comfortable moving between rap, melody and contemporary Nigerian sounds.
