The Big Brother Naija Season 11 competition has taken another dramatic turn after three housemates were evicted during the latest live show.
Yusuf Muhammed-Awal, Isabella “Bells” Imoh and Chimsom Chuka all left the “Show Ya Sef” house during the Week Eight eviction show hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Their departures have reduced the number of housemates still competing in the reality television competition to 10.
The triple eviction came after 11 housemates were placed up for possible eviction following the Week Eight Head of House challenge. The nominated contestants included Yusuf, Bells, Chimsom, Sheba, Tram, Temi Nkem, Ricky, Bluethopia, Oyin, Flora and Keivo.
The public vote ultimately determined who would continue in the competition. Tram received 7.56 per cent of the votes, while Chimsom recorded 6.90 per cent, Yusuf 6.77 per cent and Bells 6.57 per cent. Tram survived, while the other three contestants were sent home.
Yusuf became the first housemate announced as evicted during the live show. His departure also brought attention to his relationship with Bells, who was still inside the house at that point. During his conversation with Ebuka after leaving, Yusuf acknowledged his feelings for Bells and spoke about his plans to return to acting.
Bells was then announced as the second housemate to leave. Her eviction added another emotional moment to the evening, particularly because of her connection with Yusuf. Speaking with Ebuka after her exit, she opened up about her feelings for him and also discussed the friendships she formed during her time in the house.
Chimsom Chuka became the final eviction of the night. His exit brought an end to his 56-day stay in the competition. During his time in the house, Chimsom emerged as Head of House twice and became involved in several of the season’s major conversations and relationships.
The triple eviction also changes the dynamics inside the house. With three more contestants gone, the remaining housemates are moving closer to the final stage of the competition, where every task, relationship and strategic decision could become increasingly important.
Meanwhile, Barry has already secured a place in the finale after winning the Week Eight Head of House challenge. He also received the Ultimate Veto Power and used it to save Aikou from possible eviction.
The latest exits follow the previous eviction of Abi and Araga, while Nomy was disqualified earlier in the season. The original Season 11 cast entered the house with 24 contestants, meaning the competition has now entered a much smaller and more intense phase.
With only 10 housemates left in the main competition and the finale getting closer, attention will now shift to the contestants still fighting for their place in the final stage.
