The Nigerian Grammy-winning singer has been confirmed as the halftime performer for the 2026 NFL Paris Game, where the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France on October 25. The game will mark the NFL’s first regular-season game in France.
For Burna Boy, the performance represents a return to a venue that already holds an important place in his career.
In April 2025, he became the first African artist to headline a solo concert at Stade de France. The performance sold out the 80,000-capacity stadium, according to Stade de France, giving him one of the biggest concert milestones achieved by an African artist in Europe.

“Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career,” Burna Boy said in a statement to The Associated Press, describing his return as an opportunity to represent African music on another major platform.

Burna Boy’s career has increasingly placed him in spaces where African music is presented to audiences beyond its traditional markets.
